The CBI filed chargesheets against Ithaca Estate and LGCL Urban Homes for cheating homebuyers. Directors and bank officials were also named in the chargesheets filed in Bengaluru. The accused allegedly made false assurances and used deceptive means to gain financial benefits. This investigation is part of a larger probe into 34 builder cases nationwide. The CBI has already filed thirteen chargesheets in these ongoing investigations.
