Shiv Sena politician Shankar Kumar Jha is now on the run from authorities. His anticipatory bail plea was rejected by the Thane Sessions Court. He faces allegations of cheating homebuyers of Rs 7.24 crore. The investigation has been transferred to the Economic Offences Wing. Jha’s current whereabouts remain unknown to the police.
